Canyon

GDF Attacking; Strogg Defending

The Strogg have taken over an abandoned fortified base to develop an improved Stroggifier. The GDF must fight their way down the canyon and destroy the Stroggifier before it can be used to produce new armies of Stroggtroopers.

Primary Missions

• 1. Construct the Bridge
• 2. Once the bridge is built, an MCP will be air dropped near the capturable forward spawn. Escort the MCP vehicle to the Outpost and deploy it.
• 3. Hack the Strogg Shield Generator, which will allow the MCP to fire a missile, destroy the base doors.
• 4. Fight your way into the bunker, attach and arm explosives to the Stroggifier and destroy it.

Secondary Missions

• a. Capture the Domed Building Spawn Point (GDF)
• b. Capture the Ruined Building Spawn Point (Strogg)
• c. Capture the Hut Spawn Point (GDF)
• d. Construct Guard Tower

Tips

• Secondary Objectives that will aid the GDF attack include the constructible Guard Tower with emplaced machine gun, and capturable spawn points.
• The Shield Generator will not become an active objective until the MCP fires the first SSM.
• Strogg can capture a forward spawn point on the hill near the bridge construction site.
• Don’t forget about the back road to the Strogg Shield Generator. From the Outpost, grab a vehicle, then drive left and back around the hill. Just before you see the orange Strogg shields, go right and over the hill. You’ll come down right on top of the Shield Generator.
