Refinery

GDF Attacking; Strogg Defending

The Strogg have adapted a North African Oil Refinery to Stroyent production and are converting the GDF’s strategic fuel reserves for their own use. The GDF must fight their way through the Strogg defenses and destroy the two Stroyent Filters to permanently halt the Refinery’s Stroyent production.

Primary Missions

• 1. Drive the MCP to the Outpost and deploy it.
• 2. Hack the Strogg Shield Generator to allow the MCP vehicle to fire an SSM at the Refinery building, blasting it open to gain access to the Refinery interior.
• 3. Destroy the South Stroyent Filter.
• 4. Destroy the North Stroyent Filter.

Secondary Missions

• a. Capture Hotel Spawn Point
• b. Destroy the Barricade
• c. Construct the Foot Bridge (near the Shield Generator)
• d. Construct the Guard Tower (on the MCP route)
• e. Construct the Guard Tower (near the Hotel)

Tips

• The Strogg Shield Generator does not activate until the MCP fires the first SSM.
• A heli-borne attack, to carry Covert Ops to the Shield Generator immediately after the Outpost is captured can result in a quick shut down of the Generator.
• Capture the Hotel Spawn Point to support attacks against the Shield Generator.
• Don’t forget about the alternate MCP route (you can go right after the gate).
• If you take the alternative route out of the main gate, then once you make the last turn heading down to the lower road, you can take the MCP off course (drive over the wall). You'll only have a couple of seconds to get the MCP to the deploy spot before it self destructs, but if you can do it, it will be quicker.
