Salvage

Strogg Attacking; GDF Defending

The GDF are salvaging Strogg technology and are about to transport it on an underground military train network. The Strogg must destroy the GDF-salvaged equipment on the train before it can be removed for analysis and reproduction.

Primary Missions

• 1. Destroy the Jamming Generator by planting and arming explosives. Once the Jamming Generator is destroyed, a Mining Laser will be deployed.
• 2. Construct the Mining Laser (2), so it can burn a route into the GDF base, allowing Strogg Aggressors to assault the base.
• 3. Destroy the Salvage by planting and arming explosives.

Secondary Missions

• a. Capture the Research Hut Spawn Point
• b. Capture the Depot Yard Spawn Point

Tips

• When defending the salvage train, use the yellow lines painted on the floor as a directional guide to get to the train.
• Getting an Aggressor to plant at the side route into the GDF base, can save you a lot of time on Phase 3 and put heavy pressure on the defenders who will lose a precious 40 seconds to get set.
• When attacking the salvage facility, remember that Infiltrators can also hack the gates open.
• It is also possible to climb the terrain to the right of the base entrance to gain access to the main door.
• Strogg using Icarus jet packs can also be valuable for quickly seizing the forward spawn.
