Teambuild/Core
This builds centers around using Traps to spread conditions. Healing is done by using the elite skill "Victory is Mine" and Healing spring.
Build usage: most vim trapper teams wil try to body block their foes in a small area while keep using their traps, this gives them the best usage of their elite. The warriors try to shutdown opponents that can handle conditions in a effective way (like a RC prot).
The real danger of ViM trappers are their spirits, quickening zyphir, natures renewal and tranquility are a true nightmare for every monk ;) .
Specific tactics against a specific build:
-balance: Body block around them, keep the spirits up and spam ViM, should be effective if you are decent.
-against iway: They have to be in melee range so this is a walk in the park. You won't have to do much more then trapping a rather small area.
-bspike: The nightmare of ViM trappers. Bspike has enough healers and protectors to outheal the traps with ease (heal party etc). Your somewhat only hope is to blackout and disrupt the spike.
-foc spike: Somewhat the same as Bspike. NR helps a lot against the hexes, but the lack of hex removal hurts. last note: Keep in mind that FoC is a area spike ;) .
-rspike: Shouldn't give much problems, dust trap and shields up are your best friends.
-Dual smiters: Don't have any experience with this one, but I can imagine that they could be a pain because of their aoe effects.
Counters
-Wand there spirits and trappers and spread out as much as possible. Keep there spirits down if possible.
-PBAoE damage: ViM trappers have to be in melee range.
-Hexes: They don't have any hex removal...

-6 trappers, 2 W/R with cyclone axe/triple chop and apply poison
-5 trappers, 1 martyr, 2 W/R with cyclone axe/triple chop and apply poison
-5 trappers, 1 Me/N epedimic mes with SoH, 2 W/R
-vimway: 1 martyr trapper (like from iway), 3 ViM trappers, 4 Iway warriors.
